Your day to day
At the moment we're looking for a Florist Attendant to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at InterContinental Dubai Festival City.
The Florist Attendant is responsible for the floral decoration throughout the hotel and for attending the flower shop. He / she also needs to provide a consistent floral product for guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, function rooms and special occasions that meets the hotel’s presentation standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : -Prepares arrangements / vases for guestrooms, functions and public areas-Replaces, maintains and delivers arrangements / vases as required-
Maintains flower / arrangements containers clean and in good condition-Attends to outside customers and guests courteously, promptly while maximizing sales -
Prepares floral arrangements for in-house wedding parties, as required -Assists in taking inventories of equipment and flowers-
Maintains working area and equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repair-Reports guest complaints to superior immediately-
Complies with Hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policies and adheres to conduct personal grooming and hygiene standards-
Attends meetings and training sessions as required
What we need from you
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we're looking for : -Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a 4-
5* property-Able to speak / write / understand English-Organisational and time management skills
