As storytellers, our role is to leverage various channels of communication to build understanding of Mubadala as a catalyst for economic diversification of Abu Dhabi, through engagement with various stakeholders at home and abroad.

The Challenge

To support in the delivery of outreach initiatives, events and sponsorship activations to deliver brand awareness and stakeholder engagement across all projects in addition to raising the awareness of Mubadala’s role in diversifying the economy among the community.

This role will assist in the delivery of larger projects and lead smaller projects in conjunction with a Project Lead to maximize the return on investment and deliver an event or activate a sponsorship against pre-

determined objectives. In addition to the role of supporting in the delivery of events and sponsorships, the individual will also be involved in the planning and execution of other marketing and brand projects such as campaigns and collateral development as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the outreach and event management team on delivering key initiatives
  • Ensuring the Mubadala brand guidelines are adhered to for all our Mubadala events
  • Work closely with the platform heads to support activating sponsorships, rights and outreach programs
  • Evaluate a sponsorship proposal against the approved Mubadala sponsorship strategy as and when required
  • Ability to write a brief, run a tender process, procure and contract a supplier and ensure delivery of a scope of work by the chosen supplier to deliver on the event / sponsorship objectives
  • Ability to support Guest Management and logistics across all events and sponsorships
  • Project manage assigned outreach programs, working closely with different team members on different project aspects

  • Knowledge, skills and experience

    Bachelor's degree (preferable) in project management, event management, communication or business administration (Preferable) minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management, events, sponsorships or communications.

  • Understanding of the role of communications, marketing, sponsorship and outreach to effect positive change and support the delivery of unit objectives.
  • Basic knowledge of communication and influencing techniques and ability to interact with people across a wide range of functions and various levels to work collaboratively to deliver projects.
  • Strong knowledge in project and event management.
  • Basic knowledge of sponsorship.
  • Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Mubadala’s operations and sectors, and ability to support the delivery of tailored solutions in line with specific business requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of market trends and ability to understand and interpret brand research in order to implement findings and insights into the delivery of events and activation of sponsorships
