The Industrial and Safety Market Centre Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving and managing the designated product portfolio within the given distribution channels, with the main objective of growing 3M sales through driving and executing marketing push & pull programs in collaboration with 3M channel leaders, and portfolio marketers.
The position is positioned within the Channel Organization / Industrial, and Safety Market Centre, and the candidate will report primary to Gulf Marketing Operations Manager and secondary to Gulf Channel Leader.
The selected candidate will :
Create mutually beneficial growth and success marketing programs with optimal porfolio mix and financial outcomes algined with business priorities
Develop insights and business cases which supports concepts that deliver new and valuable mutual benefit and offer superior value to competitive offerings
Drive channel partners relationship from a marketing perspective by connecting with the appropriate leaders from key channel partners, ensuring a solid understanding of their strategic direction.
Drive on-going channel communication activities comprising customer promotions, event management and channel incentive programs and digital marketing initiatives
Desired Education and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and or Industrial Engineering. MBA or Masters from a top tier university a added advantage.
Strong negotiation and communications skills (numerical, verbal and written / visual) with both external and internal stakeholders.
Ability to identify market trends and translating them into recommendations for marketing activities.
Desired experience in business marketing, trade marketing; B2B Marketing and sales.
