Department Definition

The Marketing Communications department handles all aspects of brand management, marketing collateral, promotions, social media, creative content and communications (including internal, external, public relations and media relations).

The department outsources a number of activities to external agencies, managing those relationships and briefing them on work required.

Opportunity Responsibilities

The Assistant Social Campaigns Manager will be responsible for developing paid media campaign road-maps including setting budgets & KPIs for conversion, content promotion, as well as audience growth purposes.

The main responsibilities for this role will include :

  • Developing robust paid media plans for Social based on strong understanding of campaigns objectives and KPIs;
  • Monitor live ads on a daily basis to measure performance and optimize;
  • Establish a reporting mechanism with Digital Analyst that showcases our performance for both Always-on and Campaign-based activities and performance;
  • Work closely with the Social HOD to manage relationships with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube & Snapchat and work closely with them on all Expo2020 campaignsOperational Responsibilities;
  • Work closely with Marketing and the Social HOD on campaign performance and providing insights with recommendations, while identifying trends & perform A / B experiments during campaigns to optimize spend, targeting & performance based on insights;
  • Perform competitive reviews and update team on what is trending across the industry, and what is working outside the industry;
  • Coordinate budget management, transfer and tracking with various functions across the business.
  • Skills

    5+ years experience in Analytics, Data Science or a relevant discipline including :

  • A College / University degree in the relevant fields mentioned above;
  • Able to demonstrate strong planning and organization skills relating to Social media campaigns;
  • Strong experience working on Social Ads Manager platforms such as Power Editor, Facebook Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads Manager and Twitter Advertising;
  • Previous experience in bidding and ads optimization techniques;
  • Facebook Blueprint qualification;
  • Strong communication skills & Twitter Flight qualification;
  • Able to demonstrate strong planning and organization skills.
